The American Marketing
Association (AMA) is the world's largest and most comprehensive
association of marketers. Whether you are preparing for a career
in marketing or just exploring the field, the AMA is your information
and networking source.
Each year, over 13,000 college students increase their understanding
of the marketing profession, begin career development, and gain
valuable skills and opportunities by joining the American Marketing
Association.
The College of Charleston AMA meets monthly on campus and all meetings
are free to students. Each meeting features a local marketing professional
who speaks about a marketing topic or helps to prepare you for getting
a job in the marketing field after college. For more information
contact Charleston AMA Director of Collegiate Relations Dr. Amanda
Ruth at rutha@cofc.edu or Faculty Advisor Dr. Henry Xie at xiey@cofc.edu.
