Charleston AMA - Amercian Marketing Association

Outreach Programs

In an effort to fulfill Charleston AMA’s community role of education and training for the local marketing community, we offer two programs that focus on preparing students for a career in marketing. Both the CAMA Mentor Program and the CAMA Internship Program provide collegiate members the opportunity to develop close professional relationships with experienced marketers as well as further develop their marketing skills and abilities.

CAMA Mentor Program
Collegiate members have the opportunity to enroll in the CAMA Mentor Program. The mentorship program is designed to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for collegiate members. Upon enrolling in the program, collegiate members will be matched with a Charleston AMA professional member. In sharing their marketing experience and knowledge with their mentees, professional mentors aim to support a smooth and successful entrance into the CAMA chapter as well as the marketing profession.

If you are interested in enrolling in the CAMA Mentor Program or serving as a professional mentor, please email the Director of Community Outreach, Christine Beddia.

CAMA Internship Program
Due to the mutually beneficial nature of an internship, Charleston AMA is proud to offer professional and collegiate members exclusive access to the CAMA Internship Program. The internship program provides professional members an outlet to advertise their internship positions while providing collegiate members a reputable and select pool of internships in which to apply. The CAMA Internship Program is simply an internship resource where internships are posted and available to all CAMA collegiate members. As a collegiate member, you will receive the available internship positions through a monthly internship email.

If you are a CAMA member and are interested in posting your internship for collegiate members to view and apply or would like to volunteer as a mentor, please contact the Director of Community Outreach, Christine Beddia.
