About Charleston AMA
The American Marketing Association is a professional
association for individuals and organizations involved in the practice,
teaching and study of marketing worldwide.
The Charleston American Marketing Association became an official
chapter of the American Marketing Association in 2007. The Charleston
AMA has more than 80 members representing industry sectors from
higher education to agencies and non-profits. The organization is
home to entry-level marketers as well as those with more than 20
years of experience and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
The Charleston AMA holds luncheons monthly in addition to the SPARK!
Awards for Marketing Excellence and two after-hours events.
The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the largest marketing
association in North America. It is a professional association for
individuals and organizations involved in the practice, teaching
and study of marketing worldwide. It is also the source that marketers
turn to every day for information/resources, education/training
and professional networking. AMA members are connected to a network
of experienced marketers nearly 40,000 strong and include leading
marketing academics, researchers and practitioners from every industry.
Our principal roles are:

and promoting its importance, efficacy and ethics
